Alcohol and Other Drug Concerns

Members of our staff work closely with other professionals at Gannett to ensure that individuals experiencing problems with alcohol or other drugs (AOD) receive appropriate care. This care may include counseling in individual and/or group sessions, and referral to community resources when appropriate.

CAPS offers several groups on AOD-related issues. These include education and discussion groups on alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs, as well as therapy groups for students with family members who have substance abuse issues, and women struggling with disordered eating or binge drinking behaviors. More information on CAPS groups is provided on this website. You may also inquire about our groups by calling 255-5208.

The services provided by CAPS are just part of the many AOD services offered at Cornell. If AOD problems are affecting your life, be sure to consider the multiple avenues of support.

Alcohol and other drug use is one of the Top 10 Health Topics on the minds of Cornell students. Find out more.
