Counseling and Support

Everybody needs a little help sometimes, and learning how and when to seek assistance is an important part of staying healthy. Whether the issue is a short-term problem or an on-going challenge, Gannett can help you connect with one of the many trained listeners, counselors, advisors, and advocates on campus and in the community. Over 2,800 students utilize Gannett's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) each year. However, fewer students know about the free and confidential "Let's Talk" support hours offered across campus, or about the specialized assitance available through other Gannett staff. Such specialities include: alcohol and other drugs, sexual health, nutrition and eating problems, and victim assistance. (See menu at left.)

We hope this broad range of counseling and support services may be of benefit to you throughout your time at Cornell.
