HIV Testing & Counseling

If you are wondering whether you should be tested or are worried about HIV exposure, Gannett's Clinical Counselors can help assess risks and give detailed information about testing options. An appointment does NOT commit you to being tested; a counselor can help you figure out when and whether you might benefit from a test.

You can conveniently request a confidential HIV test during a regularly scheduled appointment at Gannett.  Both blood tests and Orasure (oral swab) are available. Results are given in person (according to NYS law) and at that time, you can get additional information or ask questions about risk and protecting yourself and your partner(s).
