Avian Influenza/Pandemic Flu

Gannett Health Services is staying closely connected to leading international, national, and state public health organizations to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information and resources for the Cornell. We are monitoring potential avian influenza health threats to travelers, especially the possibility of sustained human-to-human transmission that could give rise to a pandemic. We are working closely with health care organizations in the local community, health services in peer institutions, and campus partners here at Cornell to plan for the provision of health care services in the event of a flu pandemic.

Cornell University is actively engaged in pandemic planning to protect and care for individuals, anticipate and respond to community needs, and deliver essential services.
