Immunizations (Vaccinations)
255-5155

Immunizations offer protection against illnesses that can disrupt your life and affect (sometimes seriously) your health. The American College Health Association (ACHA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend that college students consider getting vaccinated to prevent influenza (the flu), hepatitis B, chicken pox, and meningococcal disease. At Gannett, we offer all of these vaccines, as well as vaccines against hepatitis A, human papilloma virus (HPV), pneumoccocal pneumonia, tetanus/diptheria (and booster shots, given every 10 years), and vaccinations for international travelers.

New York State requires that all students demonstrate compliance with immunization laws when they come to campus. Gannett will work with you to make sure you meet the compliance requirements by the deadline. We offer vaccinations, tuberculin skin tests, and X-rays on site.

Call 255-5155 to learn more about recommended vaccinations and required vaccinations or to schedule an appointment for vaccination. Or just stop in--we might have an opening. In the fall, check the News on our home page for information about flu shots and vaccination clinics at a variety of campus locations.
