Missed Pill Guidelines

Taking birth control pills every day can be hard, but is essential for consistent contraceptive protecteion. However, sometimes mistakes happen and pills are forgotten or packs are started late. The Missed Pill fact sheet (pdf) contains information that will instruct you in what to do if a pill (or several pills) are missed.

If you're not sure which of the guidelines applies to you, check the list of common pills, below, to determine the category. New pills are often available, so call Gannett if you don't see the name of the pill you are using:
