Dental Care

Maintaining good dental hygiene is an important component of your overall health and wellness. Although Gannett does not provide dental care, the Ithaca area has many fine dentists to serve your needs.

The most up-to-date list of dentists in the Ithaca area is in the Ithaca-Area Yellow Pages. Our staff also can provide you with a list of dentists. Call 255-5155 or stop by the reception desk on Level 3.

If you have dental insurance, be sure to inquire when you call a dentist about whether his or her office participates with your insurance plan. 

Note: Cornell's Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) makes optional dental coverage available to its participants. If you are a SHIP Member, visit the website for more information on enrolling in the dental plan and on participating providers.

If you have a dental emergency, be sure to take appropriate action immediately.

The New York State Education Department oversees the licensure of dentists.
