Travel Medicines

We are are adding new medications to our inventory every day. Should you have questions about a particular medication that is NOT listed below, please direct them to our Pharmacist by calling 254-6337.

Special information about purchasing malaria medications:

If we have a contract with your third party insurance carrier, then we will be happy to submit a bill for your malaria medications to them.

If your prescription is greater than a 30 day supply, we may need to call your insurance company to get an override. We will need to know your:

  • date of departure
  • date of return
  • destination

Plan ahead: We suggest that you check in with us after your travel appointment in order to plan your prescription pick-up. Often insurance companies do not allow you to pick up your medication more than 2 weeks in advance.This is because if you have a change of plan, they do not want to pay for medication you will not be using. We can get your information and notify you when the prescription is approved and ready for pick up.
