EARS
Students often get the support they need by talking to another student.
Cornell is fortunate to have the Empathy, Assistance, & Referral Service. EARS is a peer support service funded in part by the Student Activity Fee and sponsored by the Dean of Students Office.
EARS volunteers receive extensive training and preparation to provide personal counseling and/or guidance for problem-solving and decision-making.
- Confidential: When you call EARS, your confidentiality and anonymity are assured.
- Free: EARS support is offered to students at absolutely no cost.
- Drop in: EARS is located at 213 Willard Straight Hall (one floor below the Ivy Room ) and is open for drop in visits (no appointment necessary);see web site for hours.

faQ provides peer-to-peer confidential and anonymous support to students that may be questioning their sexuality, struggling with same-sex sexual or romantic experiences and feelings, or questioning their sexual or gender identities.
