Nutrition is closely linked with health—both physical and psychological. Good nutrition knowledge and practice provide the basic elements needed to perform well and to feel well at Cornell.

Nutrition questions or concerns

If you have any questions or concerns about nutrition, you may discuss them during your next medical visit to Gannett. Our medical staff can answer general questions, assess nutrition-related health concerns, and refer you for more assistance as needed. You may also schedule an appointment directly with a nutritionist at Gannett.

Eating problems

For eating problems, the most effective treatment is through a multi-disciplinary approach. This can include a combination of medicine, nutrition, psychotherapy (individual and/or group), and psychiatry visits. At Gannett, the Cornell Healthy Eating Program (CHEP) has been developed with comprehensive care in mind. Medical clinicians, counselors, nurses, and nutritionists work closely together to ensure that individuals with eating problems receive timely and effective care.
