Your time at Cornell will bring many opportunities, academic and social. Part of making friends and learning about relationships may include exploring your sexuality.

Regardless of whether or not you have ever been sexually active, the sexuality-related choices that will come your way may pose wonderful, interesting, and exciting (or perhaps anxiety-producing!) options. At Gannett, we are aware of college students' needs and concerns and invite you to consult with our nurses, clinicians and health educators to help you maintain your sexual health.

Confidential services

Gannett offers comprehensive sexual health services to new students. Our staff is bound by law to maintain your confidentiality. That means that if your parents call to ask if we've seen you or prescribed anything, we cannot (and will not) tell them anything about the care that you receive, unless you sign a release saying it's okay for us to do so.

Our services include:

• Free sexual health counseling (values clarification, relationships, sexual identity or functioning, disease and pregnancy prevention, etc.)
• STI/STD diagnosis and treatment
• HIV testing, counseling and follow-up
• Gynecology (including the recommended annual exam for women)contraception and safer sex supplies 
• Pregnancy testing and counseling and referral
• Emergency contraception 
• Rape, sexual harassment, sexual abuse care and counseling
