Peace of Mind Campaign

In the Spring of 2008, the Tompkins County Department of Health issued a Health Alert regarding an increased number of syphilis cases. Staff from several local colleges, universities, and local agencies banded together to develop an action plan, including the development of print and web media related to sexual health. The emerging campaign includes the slogan, "Never underestimate the value of Peace of Mind." Materials encourage individuals to consider their risk factors, use protection, and to get tested as needed.
