Who We Are

We are partners in your health care, advocates for your well-being. Over 140 of us (and dozens of dedicated student volunteers), with a wide range of training, expertise, and personal and professional experiences, are united in our support of the academic mission of the University and of your own academic, personal, and professional goals.

We are guided by a model of integrated care for the whole person and for the Cornell community (as well as the many communities that comprise it). And we are committed to providing high quality services that are convenient, cost-effective, confidential, sensitive to the diverse needs of individuals, and responsive to the ever-changing needs of the campus.

Working closely with our partners in the Division of Student and Academic Services, other Cornell departments and academic units, many student organizations, and health care providers in the Ithaca area, we are dedicated to improving the health and safety of the Cornell community and its members.

College health is “the caring intersection between health and education. It is a community with a shared vision and common cause. College health cannot be separated from the physical, social, emotional, political or cultural influences, nor from fostering a sense of belonging and value."  (E. Boyer)
