Who Are You?

Graduate Student

Your graduate program offers a rich, rewarding, and challenging program designed to nourish and expand your mind. Let us help you take care of your body and spirit.

Gannett offers high quality, friendly, and convenient health services right here on campus. You already know that keeping your body healthy and strong is important to reaching your academic and life goals. As a graduate student, you may be challenged by particular stresses. Our staff can help you face these challenges and get the support you need to succeed.

Stress outlets for Grads

Graduate students often experience unique stresses related to cultural or geographic adjustment, academic pressures, relationship or family concerns, difficulties in dealing with faculty, or social isolation. Managing your stress on a daily basis is important for your overall health and wellbeing. Learn more about stress and view our stress reduction techniques.

Sometimes, it's helpful to talk with someone who is not connected to your academic life. Gannett's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers individual, couples, and group counseling to help students address these concerns. Some students are hesitant to seek counseling services and may prefer to speak with a counselor during the "Let's Talk" walk-in hours at off-site locations. CAPS can also provide referrals to mental health professionals in the Ithaca community for students who prefer to be seen off-campus.
